2026 evangelism events for our group
For the month of July
On Thursdays, at 7 PM we'll meet up at Panera Bread we'll have our "Friendship evangelism" workshop and our "teaching others to teach" activites. See videos below for more details...in the "evangelism activites explained" section.
This will be prep for USF outreach in July.
July - We'll do a USF Bulls Market event on the second week of the month on Wednesday and a "friendship evangelism" activity on the third week of the month at the collage campus. Scroll down to watch videos about these actives. Video 1, 2, 3 will show the content and actives we will be doing in the "evangelism activites explained" section.

Vendor and Friendship evangelism at USF college and other colleges...
First vendor event at USF
will be at their "Bulls Market."
USF Bulls Market Date: August Wed 12th the hours are 9 AM -2 PM
Location: Right behind Marshall Center. Address: 4103 USF Cedar Cir, Tampa, FL 33620
Parking garage is right in front of Marshall Center. Through the years, I park on the top and have never had a problem. I'll set up near early at 8:45 AM. The market does not tend to pick up till 10 AM and slows down after 12 PM.
The goal is to grow: Come and do what your comfortable with doing. You can wave, smile at people, you can help set up o keep the supplies stocked.
You can pass out materials and talk to people at our vendor table. You can even leave our table and talk to folks, get food, (we are right next to the food court and coffee shop).
For those who feel they are ready, they can move about the market and talk to religious vendors and talk to them about spiritual truths. The more you go to these events the more you'll be able to do. And you'll find that will translate to all areas of your life in matters of engaging others.

I encourage you to watch at least one of these (three) videos a week.

This video covers personal rituals you can join me and our group. These Bible-focused rituals will help you become centered and aware of consciously doing evangelism in your life. Lifestyle outreach is powerful. This video provides steps to help you achieve this aim. I encourage you to try to do the rituals in the morning daily. If that is too difficult, try to aim for doing these activities at least 3 times weekly.
The more you do these steps, the more you'll grow. Remember to pray for our group, for me, and for yourself in this important work. There is power in prayer when we pray in Jesus' name.

Other ways to get comfortable giving invites. Practice inviting your coc friends and church members to our group. Its a bit easier to do this. This activity is a good stepping stones for giving nine Christians invites.

For those who want to progress in evangelism, they'll find this video outlines ways to engage people. Many times when conversations come up, people draw a blank slate and struggle with what to say when talking about Jesus. Much of the time, folks may use easier methods (like passing out card invites) as a crutch, even though they have developed in their abilities past such methods.
In this video, I'll outline the New Testament pattern of proclaiming and having conversational evangelism. I'll outline the benefits of using "One Shot cards. The document that highlights these ideas can be downloaded here.

I want to thank Royce Bell. He mentored me in evangelism. The one shot approach and the importance of first addressing the seriousness of sin, are concepts I learned from him. As you watch the video, I'll share why these themes are Biblical and why they are important.

Beginning in August: Each month, we will explore (as a group) "evangelism leadership/mentorship" Bible ideas for personal and group growth.
You are encouraged to read one chapter each month of "Discipleship for King Jesus." These chapters will have exercises that will help you develop in evangelism as a mentor and soul winner. As a Church group, we will go over the chapter's questions and exercises when we have our meetings. These questions will help us in our spiritual goals and help us further connect/bond with our group by learning more about our team members. What we learn will help us support the goals of our group (in prayer and deed).
