2026 evangelism events for our group
Goals for 2026: For next year we are going to focus on door knocking, campus outreach and friendship evangelism.
Friendship evangelism will be our staple focus. We will have classes and events to help people get experienced and comfortable with sharing Jesus with friends and family members.
For those who wish to grow in friendship evangelism. I encourage you to read/watch 30 minutes of our friendship evangelism training blog each week.
Apply what you learn. The best gift you can give another person in evangelism and to our Lord in this work, is yourself.
Let Christ live more deeply in you. Doing the above will help you in this aim.
Bible studies
Events: Our Bible study with Jack Stelter on Tuesdays at 7 PM at Panera Bread. Our Bible studies with Danisa and Michelle is on Thursday evenings at 7 PM at Panera Bread. Address: 11860 Bruce B Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL 33612 What this work entails: Tuesday and Thursdays we teach the lost and new converts Bible truths. For those who want to teach, these classes give Christians a chance to learn the lesson material that is taught, as well as the format and style of the Bible studies. Our "teaching others to teach" classes will be done on Tuesday or Thursday when we don't have a contact for Bible study during these days. (www.evangelismworkersoftampabay.com/teaching) Our Bible lesson content has been used for a decade and has been effective in bring the lost to Jesus. The concepts our group will learn in these lessons can be used for grounding the lost/new converts in core foundational Bible themes as well as in learning essential soul saving Bible concepts. When our group comes to these studies, they get a chance to get used to such studies with non Christians and new converts. The group members will start to become familiarized and comfortable with this process and when ready, to step into the role of teacher, (with me and others as a support). The material will also equip saints in foundational Bible knowledge for their own personal growth in doctrine, morality and important concepts of the faith within God's Word.

Church planting work:
With Bible studies with the community, its hard to also have our activities during the work week. In 2026 there is a new focus: For next year in February I'm going to transition our home meeting outreach workshops and weekly evangelism training activities at Panera Bread towards a church planting work. I wrote a blog detailing what we'll be doing. I encourage you to read it. Pray about what you read. This will be a step forwards in evangelism for us as a group and for each team member who helps. This church planting work will be outside of normal Sunday assembly times for those who still want to attend their local congregations. Though the best support for this work will be by placing membership and making this church a 100 percent investment as ones spiritual place for worship as a congregational home. The more you are committed to our church family the more you'll be able to do. BUT if you want to stay with your congregation and can still help, it'll be great to have you join. :) Going to the church planting congregation will show you a template for church planting and a structure of what a strong evangelistically congregation is supposed to reflect. Our church is a mentorship church, this means we will actively within the assembly and without seek to help each other develop as Christians and evangelists. Our church Bible classes will have our evangelism workshop classes www.evangelismworkersoftampabay.com/classes We will also go over our friendship evangelism prep work to help us weekly get ready for sharing Jesus. These will be part of our Bible class activities. Then we'll have worship where God will be glorified, the New Testament will be followed in the pattern shown, and mentorship and leadership activities for service and growth will take place. Building connections, bridges and bonds will strengthen this group, and this work. We want our family of evangelists to know one another. This church planting work will help with that goal as well. Our past Bible group meetings, and our online articles about evangelism meetings, will have such concepts implemented in our church planting work.

In our evangelism group text chat, you can stay up to date on our team and see who is interacting with our group. If you want to contact any of our team members you can access our directory. This directory is great for reaching out to our group for personal evangelism and spiritual things you may want to share with our team.
Each month, we will explore (as a group) "evangelism leadership/mentorship" Bible ideas for personal and group growth.
You are encouraged to read one chapter each month of "Discipleship for King Jesus." These chapters will have exercises that will help you develop in evangelism as a mentor and soul winner. As a Church group, we will go over the chapter's questions and exercises when we have our meetings. These questions will help us in our spiritual goals and help us further connect/bond with our group by learning more about our team members. What we learn will help us support the goals of our group (in prayer and deed).

Dear evangelism group, I encourage you to pray and consider joining our evangelism church planting work.

This video covers personal rituals you can join me and our group. These Bible-focused rituals will help you become centered and aware of consciously doing evangelism in your life. Lifestyle outreach is powerful. This video provides steps to help you achieve this aim. I encourage you to try to do the rituals in the morning daily. If that is too difficult, try to aim for doing these activities at least 3 times weekly.
The more you do these steps, the more you'll grow. Remember to pray for our group, for me, and for yourself in this important work. There is power in prayer when we pray in Jesus' name.
